Vers des élections transparentes et inclusives : Le Conseiller-Président Laurent SAINT-CYR engage le secteur privé
Le Conseiller-Président Laurent SAINT-CYR a organisé une rencontre à l’hôtel Oasis à Pétion-Ville avec les représentants de diverses associations du secteur privé. Les échanges se sont basées sur l’organisation des prochaines élections en Haïti.
Au cours de cet échange, les experts Benzico PIERRE et Bingel VICTOR ont présenté le système électoral haïtien, tout en mettant en lumière les défis logistiques et organisationnels liés à ce processus crucial.
Cette rencontre, première d’une série, vise à mobiliser toutes les forces vives du pays pour garantir la tenue d’élections crédibles, inclusives et transparentes.
Le Conseiller-Président SAINT-CYR a fait savoir que les élections figurent parmi les cinq grands axes prioritaires de la transition en cours, afin de renouveler le personnel politique du pays, tout en précisant que la réussite de ce processus électoral est une condition sine qua non pour conduire Haïti vers la stabilité et le développement durable.
D’après le Représentant du secteur privé au Conseil Présidentiel de Transition (CPT), ce chantier ne peut en aucun cas attendre, tout en soulignant que ce dialogue constructif reflète l’engagement et la volonté du CPT de créer un climat propice à des élections démocratiques et à un avenir prospère pour Haïti.
