Les lycéens ont intensifié leur mobilisation en menaçant de bloquer les rues de la ville, ce lundi 3 février 2025. Ils exigent la suspension des activités des autres écoles privées jusqu’à ce que le Lycée Anacaona retrouve son fonctionnement normal, espérant ainsi mettre la pression sur les autorités.
Face à cette escalade, des responsables du Mouvement Point Final se sont rendus sur place pour apaiser les tensions et encourager le dialogue. Malgré ces efforts de médiation, la frustration reste palpable, alimentée par l’arrêt des cours et l’absence d’équipements essentiels comme une cafétéria, une bibliothèque, un laboratoire informatique et une alimentation électrique stable.
Depuis janvier 2025, le Lycée Anacaona de Léogâne traverse une crise qui paralyse son fonctionnement. Autrefois reconnu pour son dynamisme, l’établissement peine désormais à offrir un enseignement de qualité, exacerbant le ras-le-bol des élèves.
La situation a atteint un point critique la semaine dernière, lorsque la police de la Cité d’Anacaona est intervenue. Des agents ont pénétré dans l’enceinte du lycée et utilisé des gaz lacrymogènes pour maîtriser des débordements, illustrant la gravité des événements.
De plus, la grève nationale des enseignants, qui revendiquent une augmentation salariale et de meilleures conditions de travail, aggrave encore la crise. Certains lycéens menacent de boycotter le fonctionnement de toutes les écoles privées de Léogâne si aucune solution n’est rapidement trouvée.
