La commune de Port-au-Prince est ravagée par les combats menés par des groupes armés qui tentent de prendre le contrôle de la capitale haïtienne. De plus en plus des zones se vident au fur et à mesure que le conflit progresse. C’est aux Haïtiens seuls de se plier face à cette réalité ignoble.
Les crises politique et économique, qui s’aggravent dans le pays, ont affaibli les institutions démocratiques. L’insécurité et la violence armée ont tout pris à la population haïtienne, même sa dignité.
Tout ce que la population veut c’est de pouvoir vivre en paix. Elle n’existe pas socialement, car elle a besoin de jouir d’un ensemble de droits dignes de la permettre de tenir pleinement son humanité. Ce qui n’est pas le cas en Haïti. On respire sans vraiment vivre en cohabitant dans ce cimetière à ciel ouvert.
Aujourd’hui on est soumis à la plus grande précarité. L’Haïtien est confronté à de multiples privations qui font de sa vie un calvaire à endurer au quotidien. En Haïti, on fonctionne comme des morts-vivants, vu l’ampleur de ce chaos.
Irresponsable au plus haut point, l’État est inexistant ici-bas. Il a recours à la violence contre des individus et des institutions qu’il juge défavorables à ses causes.
Nous avons tous besoin de la paix. Mais, il prêche le calme et la sérénité. Quoique les actes de violence aient augmenté de façon considérable, mais les violences font déjà partie intégrante du comportement des autorités.
Les autorités étatiques sont incapables d’éviter ou de neutraliser les violences contre la population, mais elles continuent de jouir des privilèges pour un travail non effectué. ça crève le cœur de voir comment la population essaie de s’adapter face à cette violence armée, au milieu du chaos.
Si les dirigeants reçoivent les plus hauts privilèges et bénéfices de l’État haïtien, en contrepartie, ils doivent impérativement offrir au peuple haïtien un environnement qui favorise la paix et la sécurité pour tous.
Entretemps, la Primature et le Conseil Présidentiel de Transition sont à couteaux tirés pour avoir le contrôle des directions autonomes. Cependant, la population reste dans cette insécurité galopante et ne sait pas à quel saint se vouer.
